Course Description:
This seminar will introduce you to Esoteric acupuncture, a profoundly effective acupuncture
system which addresses the psycho-emotional (shen) root of illness and aids in the reduction of
stress related symptoms. We will study how and where each emotion mirrors in the body and
the point patterns/needle techniques used to reduce the emotional impact on the physical body.

In addition, we will review Master Tungs’ points and acupuncture principles. We will study his
system and how it combines with esoteric acupuncture to achieve optimal balance of both body and mind!
The seminar will include lecture, demonstration and supervised practice offering each student an in-depth
learning opportunity.

Objectives:

  • To teach the principles of esoteric acupuncture
  • To teach the point patterns used in esoteric acupuncture, their origin and history
  • To help students learn why and when the point patterns are used
  • To offer each student a chance to practice the application of the point patterns and to experience the effects of esoteric acupuncture
  • To briefly review Master Tungs points, point locations, indications and acupuncture principles

Goals:
The student will then learn to integrate these esoteric patterns into a meridian based
acupuncture treatment - Master Tungs’ acupuncture system to be specific.
